The A. de Jong Group named one of the Netherlands’ twenty Best Managed Companies 2011 in the medium-sized and large firms category.

The news was announced last week by Deloitte, organiser for the fourth year running, in conjunction with the country's Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers VNO-NCW, TiasNimbas Management School and the magazine Management Week, of the country’s Best Managed Companies programme. During the voting procedure, regional and national juries were asked to determine which firms best met the standards of the scheme, basing their decision on company dossiers compiled by Deloitte, all of which were subjected to extensive analysis.
Says Director Albert de Jong: “The award of this accolade serves as recognition of the efforts we have put in over recent years. Even in economically difficult times, we have stuck to our goals with determination, and achieved them! We will continue to strive to improve our internal organisation in the years to come, and to grow our market share in those industries in which we operate”.
