De Jong Combustion

De Jong Combustion is located in Schiedam. We are one of the six business units of the A. de Jong Group. We are an internationally respected specialist in the field of industrial burners and combustion technology.

Burners are a core product of the A de Jong Group. Oil burners have been part of the company portfolio since the early 1930’s and in the late 1950's gas fired burners were added. To further expand its burner business, in the early 1970’s a joint venture company was formed between A de Jong  and a renowned USA based company as the sole shareholders. During the following almost 40 years, this independently operating joint venture company grew to be one of the most important industrial burner companies worldwide. Since 2010, following an agreement between the new owner of the USA joint venture partner and A de Jong to transfer all shares to A de Jong,  the supply of these industrial burner systems has continued under a new name: De Jong Combustion (DJC). De Jong Combustion has built on the foundation formed by the joint venture company and, in close cooperation with sister company R&V Engineering,  today continues to supply a complete range of industrial gas and oil fired burner systems to a worldwide market.

We design, develop, manufacture, install, commission and service tailor made industrial burner systems. We can design and supply complete burner systems that, in addition to the burners, consist of burner fuel trains, burner management systems (BMS), combustion air systems and auxiliary equipment related to the burner systems. Our products are found in utility companies, refineries, chemical corporations and other major industries all over the world. Renowned HRSG vendors and boiler makers are our main customers.
